FAMILY BUSINESS SUCCESSION PLANNING:

THE ESSENTIALS

One of the most critical elements of sustaining a family business across generations is proactive success planning.  Too often, a succession happens without preparation as the result of an unplanned exit of the current leadership of the family business.  This can throw the business–and the family–into turmoil and often results in the demise of the business.

This workshop, facilitated by an experienced attorney and member of the Behrend faculty, will prepare you to take the steps necessary to protect your family.  You will come away armed with the tools to have more effective important conversations with your professional advisors.

Facilitated by David Dieteman, M.A., J.D.

Associate Teaching Professor of Management, Penn State Behrend

Dates: April 9, 16, 23      Time:  Noon – 2 p.m.
