The Center for Family Business
supports the needs of family-owned businesses in northwestern Pennsylvania, which make up 90 percent of all small businesses in the region. The center educates family businesses on topics such as succession planning and legacy transition, leadership development, strategic planning, managing the dynamics of a family business, and other aspects critical to the success of family-owned businesses.

Our Center supports the longevity and success of family-owned businesses and their family members for the betterment of our community. We help families successfully transition their business to the next generation through education and shared experiences relevant to family-owned businesses.

Our Center will be a catalyst for economic growth and become the premier learning community for all multi-generational family-owned businesses in the region and across all of Penn State campuses.
